Is there a local place to buy tickets vs. on-line?
Currently, General Admission tickets are available for sale at the Sweet Elephant at 2502 W. Colorado Ave.
You can also buy them at 731 N. Tejon Street, just South of the Colorado College.
What does the general admission ticket include?
The general admission ticket includes; a souvenir tasting glass, unlimited beverage tastings in the general admission area, continuous live music, parking, property tours, Kid’s Zone, and beverage seminars
What do I get in the VIP package?
In addition to all of the above, the VIP ticket includes one hour early access; small batch and reserve special beverage tastings, private patio area, access to indoor restrooms, special parking inside the walls, free food samples
What if I don’t want to taste the Colorado alcoholic beverages?
A non-drinker / designated driver ticket is available for half price. Click on the “buy tickets” tab.
Where do I park?
General Admission: There will be limited general admission parking inside the walls. This parking is available for $5 per car on afirst come first served basis. Free parking is available is along the brick wall which surrounds the perimeter of the of the property and along the streets.
VIP Parking is within the walls of the property in a designated VIP area
Is there handicap parking and access?
Yes, there will be handicap parking near the event’s main entrance. Enter through the South (Elm Street) Gate.
Can I ride my bike and will it be secure?
Yes, you can ride and UPaDowna, one of our partners will be providing a bicycle valet service which will be supervised and secure. Gratuities for this service are encouraged.
What does the event benefit?
Charities that serve Fort Carson soldiers and their families: The Home Front Cares, Fort Carson American Red Cross , TADSAW (Train a Dog Save a Warrior), GI Grandparents for Soldier Support and Navigators, Fort Carson.
What is there for kids to do?
Spire Investment Partners has sponsored the “Kid Zone Experience” which is a designated area on the festival grounds. Among the attractions and activities are Cheyenne Mountain Zoo Mobile, a Fire truck and ambulance tours, face painting, hair braiding, games and contests, giant bubble making, live demonstrations from a variety of local organizations
Can I drop off my child at the Kid’s Zone while I do the tasting?
A parent must be with their child at all times, and in all areas of the property and event
Should we bring strollers?
Yes you may, but the area is not paved and some strollers that have small wheels will probably not work.
What is there for my designated driver to do?
Continuous live music from 3 different groups, great food, shop the vendors, and other booths, live demonstrations from a variety of local organizations
Can I purchase a glass of wine?
Can I purchase a bottle of wine to take home?
Can I purchase beer?
Beer is available for tasting only
What other vendors will be there?
There will be a variety of local food, non-profits and commercial vendors.
Can I bring my dog or other pet?
Please leave your pets at home, they will not be admitted to the grounds
Can I bring outside food or beverage in?
Outside food and beverage is not permitted. There will be a great variety of food for sale available from the food vendors. Free water will be available
Can I bring my folding chair?
Yes feel free to bring your chair to relax and listen to the great music offered.
What about backpacks?
Backpacks will be allowed, but will subject to search.
How do I sign up for the 5K and 10K walk? (Volksmarch)
The Volksmarch is sponsored by the Colorado Springs Walking Club and is an internationally sanctioned event.
Sign up begins at 9AM the day of the event. Walkers can show up at the event venue on Fourth Street and pay a $3 fee, which covers insurance and registration.
If the walk starts at 9AM won’t I be finished and waiting around to get into the Feast of Saint Arnold which starts at noon?
If you registered for the walk you will be allowed to enter the event at 11 AM with the VIP guests.
What about the live music?
Our first performer is Joe Uveges , a popular local contemporary folk artist. He begins at 11 AM
From 2 to 3:30 Fireweed, an up and coming Bluegrass band will play, followed by Adam and Stilwagen Blues Band
What are the property tours?
The church property was originally an historic estate which dates back to 1909. This century old property has a storied history prior to becoming a church.
Are there ghosts in the house?
Some say so, but you will need to sign up for the tour and find out for yourself!
Can we leave the event and come back?
You will not be able to leave and return.
